Cialis Directions:
You should take Cialis exactly as directed. Cialis is available in 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg doses, and most are instructed to begin taking 10 mg pills. Because of medical conditions or drug interactions, some men begin with a smaller dose. Your doctor will help decide which is the correct dose for you. Do not take more than one pill per day.
Cialis Side Effects:
The most common side effects with CIALIS are headache, indigestion, back pain, muscle aches, flushing, and stuffy or runny nose. These side effects usually go away after a few hours. Patients who get back pain and muscle aches usually get it 12 to 24 hours after taking CIALIS. Back pain and muscle aches usually go away by themselves within 48 hours. Call your doctor if you get a side effect that bothers you or one that will not go away.
Cialis Warnings:
Before prescribing Cialis, your doctor will need to know if you have had a stroke, had angina, heart failure, irregular heartbeats, or have had a heart attack, have retinitis pigmentosa, a genetic eye disease, have a bleeding problem, have liver problems, have kidney problems or require dialysis, have stomach ulcers, have low blood pressure or have high blood pressure that is not controlled, have a deformed penis shape or Peyronie's disease, have had an erection that lasted for over four hours or have blood cell problems such as sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, or leukemia. Your doctor may feel it is not safe for you to engage in sexual activity.
Cialis Drug Interactions:
Cialis should never be used in conjunction with any other erectile dysfunction treatment, including sildenafil (Viagra), yohimbine (Yocon, Yodoxin, others), vardenafil (Levitra), or alprostadil (Caverject, Muse, Edex). Avoid more than minimal alcohol intake with Cialis. More than five drinks can lead to an increased risk of low blood pressure, headaches, increased heart rate, or dizziness.
Cialis Missed Dose:
The prescription Cialis is only used as needed, so there isn't a dosage schedule.
Cialis Storage:
Cialis prescriptions should be stored in a place free of moisture and sunlight, and at room temperature. Keep all medications away from children.
Anything Else I Should Know About Cialis:
Cialis works by relaxing certain muscles in the penis. It then allows the blood to flow into the penis more effectively and thereby create a natural erection. Cialis is intended to treat impotence.
